George Armistead – accomplished, professional birder and author – will introduce us to the cast of characters who pioneered this unique area of study, virtually all of whom hail from Philly. He’ll also take us on a tour of “strangeness”, examining the world’s most unusual birds, where they reside, what they do and why they’re different!
